Perfect sized meals

Reviewer: Proud Mom,
These cubes are quite handy. When my son was first eating solids, I was making my own purees and using these, they are a little larger than a 6 month old's feeding size, but came in very handy once he started eating larger portions. I use these for his school lunches (he's 14 months now) and they are easy to wash, and the lid is connected so you don't have to worry about it getting lost.
Tip: for earlier ages, using an ice cube tray for baby purees was more beneficial for me. The feeding size of the cubes were perfert.
Great way to freeze home-made baby food!

Reviewer: Rebekah- Mom of twins,
I love this product! They are easy to clean, can be steam serilized in the microwave (not all baby bowls/dishes can go into the microwave), and the food can be thawed/reheated in the microwave.

As another reviewer mentioned, I did have one that popped open when I put it in the freezer, but that was because I filled it too full. Just fill it to the max line and you will be fine. I also like that these cubes (when filled properly) don't leave the food freezer burned. I'm not sure if that's a problem with the ice cube trays, but that was one of the reasons why I wanted to try these. And I haven't been disappointed!

This two ounce size is great for my twins. I also love that there is a measuring line on them so I can divide the food evenly between the twins to make sure both are getting their fair share! I believe there are also smaller 1oz cubes you can buy, but the 2oz size seems to be the perfect amount after your baby has been introduced to solids and starts wanting more than just a taste of food. For me, I pull out 2 or 3 of the 2oz cubes and can easily get the twins meals ready in just a few minutes.

Instead of writing on these with a dry erase marker, I just put a small round sticker on the front of the tray with the food and date, and it works great for me. The trays allow me to stay organized so it's easy to know how much of a particular kind of food is left... so I know when to make more!

I originally only bought 2 trays to test them out and see how they worked. I loved them so much that I've ordered another 2 trays and may be back for more!
Love these!

These cubes are a must-have for anyone making their own baby food. These have handy mL measurements on the side, and the lids snap tight. I make a large batch of food and then portion out & freeze. After the puree is frozen solid, you can run the cube under water for a second or two and the puree pops right out. I transfer all the frozen puree cubes to a ziplock bag for easier storage. This also allows you to use one or two trays over and over and not have them tied up in the freezer. I can take a frozen cube out of the bag and put back into one of the cubes to send to day care. Our day care especially like that the lid is attached. I highly recommend these!
Better than 1 oz cubes

I started out using the 1 oz cubes, but had a problem with the lids always popping open. They also didn't stand in the trays very well. Because of that, I was hesitant to purchase the 2 oz cubes, but I gave them a try anyway. The lids on these are MUCH better because they're a little deeper. The same for the trays. They're great for storing baby food or any left over sauces that you might have from cooking. I also love the fact that they're BPA free so that I can freeze them as well as heat them.
Perfect for making food at home

These are great....fill em up, freeze them, throw in the dishwasher to wash (I use one of those baskets for bottle parts so they don't end up all over the dishwasher). I'm not a fan of microwaving plastic, so I simply run them under warm water for a few seconds, then pop the cube into a small bowl of cup, then microwave. Perfect for going out to eat...just defrost one and throw it in your diaper bag with a spoon. Unlike the Gerber containers (which are NOT approved for freezing or reuse), they don't leak. I have two sets and am buying two more today.
One of the safest ways to freeze baby food!

Reviewer: Mom of 1,
I choose these after MUCH research. There are so many food storage options out there, but these are made of safe, BPA-free and PVC-free plastic (unlike other baby food containers or general plastic containers in which the plastisizers can seep into your baby's food). If you don't fill them to the brim, they will stay tightly sealed. Like any other plastic, if you drop them and they are frozen, they might break. I just take them out the night before I will use them and thaw in the refrigerator. Works great! I have 8 sets and will be buying more!
Definitely Worth It!

These are wonderful and have saved us a ton of money as instead of buying organic bottled baby food we can make our own. They freeze well and are just the right size for our six month old's meals. Using them is as convenient as bottled food - although we still buy the odd bottle for use when we are out and about. The tray the containers stand in makes them easy to fill and store stacked in the freezer. You can write the contents and date on the trays with an erasable marker. Along with my immersion blender these are my new best friends. I own three sets and am about to purchase another three.
Very Useful Product

I had been looking for a storage method for my homemade baby food. This product received mixed reviews but it looked like the best concept, so I gave it a shot. I really like this storage system. The containers do not quite snap into the base as they claim, but since they are sealed, it is not a big deal. I have not had any trouble with the lids popping open like some other reviewers have. It is SO handy to be able to feed the baby right out of this product as well. I highly recommend these for people planning to make their own baby food.
