Reviewer: R. Theobald,
I purchased this pillow when I was 19 wks, currently I am 23 wks and I absolutely love SNOOGLE. I sleep all through the night now. My hip and lower back pain and knee/leg pain are gone. My shoulder used to hurt the worst, from trying to sleep on my left side. This pillow is not in a fixed position and it will move with you and your legs etc.. You can have the pillow in front of your stomach or have it behind your back for a different position. You can also lie your head down on the pillow itself, it is actually very comfortable, I'm very, very picky about my pillows and I thought that this may be an issue, but it is not.

Yes, it is [$$] but I figured I would save money in the end by not buying the wedge that is [$], then a body pillow that is stiff and bulky for [$] and then stepping up to the Snoogle. And I am glad I made the right decision, because my sleep is definately worth [the money] and I see it no different than maternity clothes -- I will be able to re-use this with more pregnancies to come.....Plus, I kept the plastic zipper storage bag that it came in and I put my Snoogle in there to take with me on my many travels.

Can't say enough, great product, highly recommend.

I was having a lot of trouble getting comfortable and sleeping through the night about 18 weeks into my pregnancy. I tried everything, proping a pillow between my knees, one under my side, etc...I was so uncomfortable. I finally decided to break down and spend the money on this pillow and I can't begin to tell you how much it has helped. I love the fact that it wraps around my back and come between my legs and also under my head all at the same time. Yes, the reviews about the pillow flattening out are true but I just fluff mine back up. There were also complaints about when you want to flip over on your other side, it's hard to adjust the pillow. I just flip my body over and don't move the pillow. It's just as comfortable. It does take up a lot of room in the bed but I can't stress that a good night sleep is so worth it for a pregnant lady. I think this is a must have during pregnancy.
I DON'T KNOW HOW I WOULD HAVE MADE IT WITHOUT THIS PILLOW!!

I've never felt compelled to write a review before, but I had to let everyone know how much I LOVE this pillow. I purchased it when I was 4 months pregnant. I have been an avid tummy sleeper for 14 years (since the birth of my youngest child) and I was in a PANIC about having to sleep on my side. I tried it out the first night and wasn't really impressed (thought I could still figure out a way to sleep on my belly on my own). I put it in my closet for about a week before giving it another go. Well, let me tell you that I slept on my side so comfortably and now I cannot sleep without this thing! I sleep on my side every night without any discomfort or having my bottom arm fall asleep (as usually happened whenever I had attempted it before purchasing the pillow). I take it with me when we are on vacation or out of town and now at 7 months, it even allows me to sleep in a "modified" on my stomach position. I use the pillow with the entire thing in FRONT of me, rather than behind me (as in the picture). It does take a few days getting used to having it in the bed as it is quite large, but once you get the "turning over" with it part down, it's fantastic. I also love that it keeps your body in line without raising your head too high (so I haven't had a problem with neck pain). My back feels great! Prior to purchasing it, I had read reviews with women complaining that the pillow case is "scratchy" and difficult to remove and put back on. COME ON LADIES! You are going to go thru labor & childbirth and you are complaining about changing a pillowcase? My goodness! (I hope you are getting an epideral!) It does take a bit of work to get the case back on, but doesn't take more that one person or a few minutes. As far as the scratchiness goes, it's not like having chanielle or fleece against your face but it's not sand paper, either (think cheap sheets/pillowcases with low thread count...no big deal!). I can't recommend this pillow enough (can you tell?!) and I will be using it long after the birth of my child!
Comfortable nights

I bought this pillow when I was only 5 months pregnant and just beginning to get uncomfortable at night. It is nice because it gives you the support everywhere you need it, and you don't need to use 4 or 5 separate pillows to achieve it. It can go in many different positions to conform to your own body-which ever feels best to you. I love it and hope that it will help me stay comfortable throughout my pregancy.
Love this pillow

My Mother bought me my snoogle when I was 5 months pregnant. I was sleeping on the couch because I had no support in my bed. The back of the couch was my support. Since using the snoogle I have been sleeping comfortably in my bed (my husband was thrilled) ever since. I will probably use this long beyond pregnancy. If I can keep my 8 year old away from it. I have also caught my husband napping with it. You have to get a snoogle. It has been one of the greatest gifts I have ever received. I can get a good nights sleep again.
This is the best gift I think I've ever received! (and UPDATE below)

This was on the top of my Christmas gift list, and I swear by it!

I'm currently expecting twins, and after a month of getting hardly any sleep, I unwrapped this gift on Xmas morning. Since then, every night has been one of GREAT SLEEP! I love it because I can get it all the way around my body. If the weight of my midsection is uncomfortable, I can take the part of the Snoogle that comes up between my legs and use the end of it to bolster my midsection. This really helps prevent ligament pulling. I can easily sleep on my back with the pillow under my neck and the bottom of it under my legs.

I find that by 5 p.m. I can use it in bed and relax and recline there for hours without ever getting sore from being in one position too long.

I've had to go on two business trips, and its easy to put in a large garbage bag and carry into the hotel, so I can get a good night of sleep on the road as well.

The only complaint comes from my husband. He says that he can't cuddle with me because there is so much pillow in the way. In order to try and accommodate him, I moved the open part from my side of the bed to the middle of the bed. It worked well all night, but when I needed to get up in the early AM to go to the bathroom, my husband had to roll me over the long side of it. Having done this with me once, we realized that it was better to have the opening part toward my side of the bed and not between the two of us.

The price shouldn't discourage you, if you think $50 is too high a price. When you're pregnant and uncomfortable at night, no cost is too high for a good night of sleep!

UPDATE - I've been using this pillow now for 4 months to assist me in nursing the twins. I have a boppy pillow, but find that the snoogle works better for nursing!
Scratchy? Only if you're the princess with the pea.

Reviewer: Trugold,
I'm 17 weeks pregnant and was in agony every night, sleeping only a couple hours at a time. I looked at this online and almost didn't buy it because of all the folks saying "it's so scratchy, the seams irritate me, boo hoo." I can't imagine what they're complaining about and can only assume that we have high-born royalty mingling with us commoners. (Remember the princess who was so delicate she could still feel a pea under 12 feather mattresses?)

This pillow is soft as can be, snuggly, not an unpleasant seam in sight. The minute it arrived I leapt into it and have had to be pried out since. Last night, my first night using it, I had the best sleep I've had in weeks.

Only 2 small, very small, issues: if you have it on the edge of the bed (which I do, so it's not between me and husband & dog) then getting out of bed in the middle of the night requires a little forethought; also, turning over requires a few extra movements.

This pillow is fantastic, I can't say enough about it. My back didn't hurt this morning, neither did my neck, I could lie almost on my back and almost on my stomach without hurting the baby ... I can't say enough good things about this fantastic product which I will keep until it falls apart.
I Finally had a good night's sleep

I am almost six months along. I was a flat on my stomach sleeper until my belly began to get in the way. I have had a horrible time trying to get comfortable and this is the answer! I got my snoogle yesterday and last night I finally felt comfortable. I slept right away, whereas usually it takes me an hour to finally fall asleep after tossing and turning. Great, must-have for any gal having similar problems.
